Cor-Ban® 35 — Thin Film Long-Life CIC
The standard-bearer for structural corrosion protection in commercial aviation. High-solids, low-VOC CIC with high penetration capability and water-displacing properties. Combines the fast dry time and thin film of BMS 3-23 with the long-lasting inhibition properties of BMS 3-29 — a single product delivering both speed and durability. Dries in under one hour to a non-tacky film at 0.5–0.75 mils DFT. One aerosol covers ~95 ft². Available dyed (orange) for visual inspection or undyed for interior applications. Used by every major airline and qualified to Boeing, USAF, NSN, and commercial specifications. The Formit® applicator system delivers targeted spray to hard-to-reach structural cavities.

Super-penetrating, water-displacing thin-film CIC for aircraft substrates. Fast dry time with 0.3–0.5 mil DFT — the thinnest film CIC in the Cor-Ban® line. One aerosol covers ~160 ft². Self-levels to achieve desired dry film when applied to inclined surfaces. QPL BMS 3-23 H Type II Class 2 and MIL-DTL-85054D qualified. Highly concentrated, versatile water-based heavy-duty exterior cleaner and degreasing compound for aircraft components and facilities. Outstanding performance as a general aircraft cleaner and exhaust stain remover. Excellent for wheel wells and landing gear cleaning without solvent. For heavily soiled exterior surfaces, dilute 1:3 to 1:20 with water depending on soil level — recovers badly oxidized surfaces at 1:3. QPL qualified for MIL-PRF-87937D Type II. D-5640NS — General-Purpose Precision Cleaner / Degreaser
The standard general-purpose precision cleaning and degreasing solvent for aerospace substrates — developed as a direct alternative to chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), chlorocarbons, alkalies, and petroleum solvents. Contains no chlorine — does not contribute to ozone depletion. Biodegradable and very low toxicity. Non-alkaline — eliminates the hazards associated with caustic cleaners. Removes corrosion inhibiting compounds (CICs), transmission grease, pre-paint contamination, and general soils. Applied as spray or hand wipe, then wiped or blown dry with compressed air.
